Along an increase in the processing area the first residence for seasonal workers in Spain is built with capacity to take up to 40 people and equipped with all amenities and services. This earned our winery the prestigious award for Empresa Solidaria.

Also, Bodegas Luis Cañas is the first winery in Spain to have a Mistral grape Selection table which together with the bunch selection table forms an ideal tandem for obtaining the perfect grape. That same year we proceed to install a second selection line becoming the only winery in Spain that fully processes bunches of grapes and the grapes themselves even for their more commercial wines (Aged and Reserva).
