Vintagers’ residence

In 2006 Bodegas Luis Cañas launched a pioneering project in Spain: the construction of a RESIDENCE for farm workers.

With a 40-person capacity it has separate dormitories and toilet facilities for men and women, as well as a laundry, an industrial kitchen, dining and TV areas and a first aid room.

Our initiative received the prestigious Business Solidarity Prize 2008 awarded by the journal Dato Económico.

Purification and Quality Certification

• 2001 Bodegas Luis Cañas obtains the ISO 9002 quality system certificate granted by AENOR (the Spanish Association for Normalisation and Certification).
• 2.004 First winery in Spain to win the BRC Protocol (British Retail Consortium Global Standard-Food) from AENOR,
• 2005 ISO 14000 environmental certification. Showing our constant commitment to the environment, we open in that same year a Waste Water Treatment Plant.
